Press Release Summary = Atlanta businessman Dan Forsman won Broker of the Year honors at Prudential Real Estate Affiliates\' Annual Sales Convention. He is one of the youngest people to ever receive the prestigious award.
Press Release Body = Atlanta, GA--Prudential Georgia Realty President and CEO Dan Forsman was awarded Broker of the Year by one of the largest real estate franchises in North America, Prudential Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. (PREA). The PREA organization has more than 1,600 offices and 77,000+ real estate professionals in North America.
The Broker of the Year Award was presented to Dan Forsman at the Annual PREA Sales Convention in San Diego in March with thousands of Prudential real estate professionals looking on. PREA President Laurie Keenan personally presented the award. Forsman, at age 48, is one of the youngest people to ever receive this prestigious honor.
"Dan is a successful visionary who has grown his business to 24 offices with a sales volume of nearly $3 billion a year," said Laurie Keenan, president of Prudential Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. "He has developed products to benefit his sales professionals and grow his company, but he is known first for his great character and for being a compassionate person who knows each of his 1,500 employees by name."
The award recognizes the top broker in the Prudential Real Estate Network and signifies the person as a role model for best practices by participating in networking events, demonstrating company profitability and providing community involvement. He was also cited for his outstanding leadership skills, the phenomenal growth of Prudential Georgia Realty to one of the top 15 Prudential affiliates in the nation, his pioneering use of innovative programs for agent recruitment, retention and training. One such program, known as TeamBuilder, was so successful that PREA decided to roll it out nationally to all its Prudential affiliates at this same convention.
"I was very honored to receive this great award. However, it would not have been possible without the excellent team of agents, managers, brokers and employees who have made this company the success it is today," said Dan Forsman.
Forsman has been no stranger to real estate industry awards at the local level, including Realtor of the Year in 2004 and the Captain of Industry Award in 2005, both by the Atlanta Board of Realtors. He has a long history of involvement with giving back to the local real estate community with his volunteer work on numerous committees within that board as well as serving as Atlanta Board president in 2003. Forsman also co-founded the annual real estate prayer breakfast that takes place in Atlanta.
A Gwinnett County resident, Dan Forsman is a licensed CPA and has been with Prudential Georgia Realty since 1986, serving in numerous capacities until taking over the presidency and ownership of the company in 2000.
Prudential Georgia Realty just opened its 23rd and 24th metro Atlanta locations in Roswell and Johns Creek and has a team of more than 1,400 real estate professionals.
